October 21, 2017
EVENT DAY INFO:
Our lantern launch will take place at nightfall and is 100% dependent on the wind and the fire marshal's approval. In the unlikely occurrence that we cancel an event, our policy is to return to the city within three months of the original date. You will be contacted via email with updates and a new itinerary.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- Bring chairs, and blankets as there will be some sitting while listening to the music provided.
- Please note that we do not allow outside food or drink at The Lights fest. Don't worry though, we make sure our events are packed with a variety of food trucks.
- Please bring warm clothing. We will sell merchandise that includes blankets and sweatshirts, but encourage you to bring warm clothing we know it will get colder and the night goes on.
The Girls Rule Foundation develops today's girls into tomorrows leaders with 5 empowerment and leadership programs. The contribution from The Lights Fest will go to support their Annual Mother Daughter Conference on October 28th and their after-school program. You can access their website here. Use promo code "GIRLS" when buying your tickets to get $5 off each adult ticket!
