Our lantern launch will take place at nightfall and is 100% dependent on the wind and the fire marshal's approval. Things To Remember

  • Bring chairs, and blankets as there will be some sitting while listening to the music provided.
  • Please note that we do not allow outside food or drink at The Lights fest. Don't worry though, we make sure our events are packed with a variety of food trucks.
  • Please bring warm clothing. We will sell merchandise that includes blankets and sweatshirts, but encourage you to bring warm clothing. We know it will get colder as the night goes on.

What makes a great event? It is the volunteers! It's true. We absolutely could not do this without each and every one of our AMAZING VOLUNTEERS! Whether you are helping us check-in, handing out participant kits, answering questions or helping cleanup, you play a vital role in the success of The Lights Festival™!

Mitchell's Journey is both the story of a little boy who died and an ongoing mission to offer hope, faith, and insights on how to live a life of significance. Our non-profit organization offers free tools and resources to strengthen families as well as serve unmet needs for local families who deal with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy; from wheelchair ramps, moderate home alterations and help with mobility devices, we help families who cannot get help through other programs. We are accomplishing this through three major initiatives:

  • Economic rehabilitation
  • Medical care
  • Education
Rising Star Outreach believes that all people deserve dignity and respect. Everyone has something of value to offer the world and Life should be intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually uplifting. We envision a world that embraces these values and rejects stigma. We strive to accomplish this vision by lifting the leprosy affected, empowering them as individuals, developing sustainability in their communities, and inspiring others to action.
